Abnormal period?

Hey y'all, I have PCOS and am prepping to try to conceive in the near future so anything slightly out of the ordinary concerning my reproductive system scares me so idk if this is actually something to be concerned about. On the first day of my anticipated period (I'm pretty regular every 29-30 days) I noticed when I peed mucous covered blood clots of sorts came out but no actual blood like the water wasn't red like it normally would be and I barely had a reason to wear a tampon as the blood substance only came out when I peed. After a couple days I stopped having any blood clots or anything but today I'm bleeding lightly. Should I be concerned? I always have a regular period but this is abnormal and I couldn't find anything online.
