Did you have to wear a mask during labor or delivery?

I am wondering if a mask will make labor and delivery much more difficult.

There’s no way they’d ever make me.

The mask wasn't too bad - you adapt pretty quickly. I was able to take it off during pushing.

I had to wear an oxygen mask the entire time I was pushing and I don't remember it being in the way or making things difficult so I'd imagine just a normal face mask wouldn't be too frustrating(:

I had a friend who just gave birth she said they tested her for the covid and she tested negative so when it was just her an baby in the room she didn’t have to wear a mask but anytime someone else came into the room including dad everyone had to wear a mask

I’ve been seeing YouTube videos where they have to wear a mask during the whole delivery. I asked my ob today and she said you have to wear it but can take it off and on between pushes.
