So my best friend who also considers herself an Aunty to my 4 month old messaged me today saying that she wanted me to stop talking about him for the next couple of months because it’s the anniversary of when she had an abortion. I understand where she is coming from but I’m still pretty annoyed.

UPDATE: thank you all for your replies. I put myself on anonymous because I didn’t know what reaction I would get. I think I’m just upset because I know it would be hard on her but it’s not the 1st abortion she has had. There wasn’t DM, or anything like that. It was just a choice. It’s hard because my son is 4 months so he is starting to roll, play and meet his milestones. Plus I have spent the last 2 years/ everyday listening and chatting to her about petty arguments she has had with her ex. I feel like I have had to compromise myself a lot. But thank you for your replies, & I’ll try to be more sensitive to her.
