Questions about Clomid

A little bit of backstory: I went to a reproductive endocrinologist for all the testing and whatnot, and was diagnosed with PCOS. The doctor I saw put me on metformin and told me to use Provera for 10 days every month.

Now, I’m really thinking about talking to this doctor about trying something like Clomid. Based on your experiences (if any), did you or your partner have to do anything prior to starting on it (sperm analysis, a bubble test, etc.)? TIA and stay safe and healthy!
