How would I know if he’s a good man?

I’m always choosing the wrong guys, obviously missing the red flags lol . I’m now single and ready to mingle but I need tips on how to know he’s a really good guy... what are some things that I should pay attention to ?

I always pay attention to the way a man treats others around him in everyday situations. If he isn't nice, pleasant, or considerate of others, I wouldn't expect him to be those things in a relationship. Just one thing I look at personally 🤷🏼‍♀️☺️

Here’s a big thing that I find to be universally helpful:
Ask yourself, “Would I be okay with my friend or family member dating someone like this? Why? Why not?”
Chances are, if you ask yourself these kinds of questions, you won’t blind yourself to the red flags. If this isn’t a guy you would want your daughter or sister or best friend to be with, then that’s a great indicator that they aren’t good enough for you either.

He doesn’t feel entitled to a lifestyle without working for it, he treats people with respect, he doesn’t have a violent past, or a long rap sheet. Don’t take any excuses, let his actions—past and present—speak for him. People make mistakes, but good people will learn from them. His actions need to match his words. If he starts talking about his “crazy ex” that has a restraining order on HIM, RUN! Don’t fall for his twisted explanation. He takes care of his responsibilities. He doesn’t play games or string you along, and he doesn’t give you reasons not to trust him (no random texts late at night with either no explanation or a flimsy one, no women messaging you “so you know the truth about him,” etc) Don’t try to explain away red flags, cut your losses and walk away. Look for someone who does what they say they are going to do, words and actions align, and they are consistent. Red flags would be aggressiveness, getting in trouble, lying, being inconsiderate, not valuing your opinions, speaking to you in demeaning ways. Words and actions don’t align, for instance, they say they love you, but they cheat on you or treat you horribly.

Having the same problem because honestly after all the guys that I’ve been through I really have to pay attention to the red flags like a guy can be sweet he can be caring he can be loving and all the ways but those be the little things matter that he just shows at first but then all of a sudden the skull cracked open and ugly loser comes out when he doesn’t get his way he either has money problems or he doesn’t wanna be with you that’s truly what I’ve learned from dealing with guys did last couple years￼￼ 
You just really got a pay attention to the little things now like you wanted to be sweet and loving as possible yes I understand because I do too but now those are the things that guys just you just to get into the door but then all of a sudden they just change up on you￼ ￼
