Question for the pumping mamas! 🍼

I am officially switching from exclusively nursing my son to only giving him bottles of breastmilk (fresh pumped and from my freezer stash since I can't pump quite enough).

My only problem is I have NO idea how many oz to offer him per bottle or how often to offer one! He was nursing every 2-3 hours for 2-3 minutes around the clock, so I think I'd like to still offer him bottles every 3 hours during the day and as needed overnight.

I've read they need 24-32oz of breastmilk a day but that's a pretty big range. Since I have a good freezer stash do I just offer like the maximum amount over the day to see how much of that he will drink? Is there a chance of him overeating? Will he stop when he's had enough?

I'd obviously like to try boosting his intake during the day in hopes that he'll sleep better at night too.

I don't even know where to start! Any pumping mamas care to share how many/what size bottles they are giving?

Thanks 😘☺️
