When is the perfect time to buy life insurance ?

I'm 22 years old with a 15 month old son. I'm currently not working so I'm not planning to get it too soon. I dont know much about it and need some idea of  how it works/when is the perfect time to get it. I know I could google it but I'd rather hear from real experiences instead. Thank you :)

I had life insurance as soon as I got my own auto policy since they could bundle together and be cheap. I got more life insurance at job, and upped it to $1 million when I found out I was pregnant. It depends what you want to have taken care of should you die unexpectedly.

As soon as you have responsibilities you need life insurance to not leave burden behind. Whether it’s money for your grown children, money for someone to raise your young children, for spouse to pay off house or debts etc. Look into it while you’re young you’ll get a better rate.

Anytime. I have life insurance and will get it for the baby at 6 weeks old is usually when to for them

Now....or basically at any point you have someone who depends on you and would need to be taken care of financially if you died.
