Is it possible ?

Is it possible to not be able to go into labor naturally ? 
I had to be induced with my daughter and was only 1cm dilated. 
I am now almost 40 weeks with my second and completely closed with no labor signs.
I have never experienced Braxton Hicks or contractions besides when I was induced. 
Just wondering if others feel this way. 
I had an OB with my first but decided to try midwives this time. I sometimes feel like they don’t listen to my needs and want me to go to 42 weeks because they like everything natural. I’m at the point where I am in pain and so over being pregnant but talking about induction with them seems to be this horrible thing...
I should add that my mom could never go into
labor herself. She went to 42 weeks with my
older sister resulting in a c section and then 41 with me which was again a c section. If genetics has something to do with it I just feel like I possibly need help from medicine to get it going.

I hate that there’s negative stigma about situations like this. I didn’t go into labor on my own with my first and had to be induced. It is very possible that your body doesn’t and I believe you should do what is safest for yourself and your baby.

I believe it can happen! I had to be induced with my first at 41+1 and my second at 41 exact! I was completely closed with no sign of labor coming so they thought it was best! This pregnancy I am being induced Monday at 39 weeks simply because going to 41 weeks was completely miserable so I want this little girl out as soon as possible! Still completely closed with her and no sign of labor currently.

I’ve been induced 3 times and getting induced with baby 4 Sunday. Never gone into labor on my own
