Regular period but not ovulating?

Little back story So i have regular period always had them just a while when i was a teen that my period shifted a little and got a little irregular but got back to normal after a while i had a regular cycle but have no luck conceiving and i usually have excessive watery discharge around the time am suppose to ovulate but not sure if i actually do since we been trying to conceive naturally for about 3+ years with no luck also i have never been on birth control since i been with my husband ......is it possible to have regular period and not ovulate? I havent use any opks since we want it to happen naturally without trying too hard but this is getting frustrating 😣 any helpful tips....
