My mom was going to be the one throwing our baby shower but obviously not happening. We talked about doing a virtual baby shower... but my mom doesn’t want it to come across like we are just doing something to get presents and she wants to throw a nice event for us to really celebrate. She’s wanting to do something after baby comes and when we can actually have some people together.

I’m torn, part of me gets it because I don’t want to come across like just in it for presents but at the same time-we do need stuff.

Would it be tacky if I created a Facebook group and then do like a live video for myself? Ugh damn you covid
