The first couple times I tried I didn’t feel anything either and i was confused and I didn’t get what the big deal was. It took me a few times to start finding really good spots.

Here’s what I do, you can modify it to what works for you cuz it definitely won’t be the same thing but here’s something to try.
Setup: under covers, being slightly too hot helps you relax (don’t strip completely naked cuz you’ll be too cold/feel too exposed to feel anything). Keep your underwear on.
Start over your underwear, get a feel for where everything is. Go at different paces and over the same places a lot until you get that little hot feeling in the bottom of your stomach. A consistent rhythm feels really good, like pick a speed and stick to it when you find a really good spot.
