What do I do?

He

My daughter is 5 weeks old, almost 6 weeks.

She moves so much! If you lay her on her back, after about 5-10 minutes she starts screaming wanting to roll over. She will be about halfway there! She has rolled once, but it was on “accident” meaning, she had a little help with gravity because the bed was lower on one side (Barely! I had been sitting there before, but was standing up getting her bottle and the diaper and wipes so I could change her. I had been standing up for a couple of minutes before hand) and it helped her a little I guess? But that’s how aggressive she is at trying to roll. It’s only a matter of time. She also scoots around soo much.

My problem is at night, she will have no part of being swaddled, she wants to sleep on her belly, and she will wiggle herself right to the side of the crib, then gets her arm and or leg stuck in the bars. I know you’re not supposed to use bumper pads.

My question is. How do I keep her from getting stuck in the bars? How do I keep her safe and happy? Or because she’s moving so well, is it safe to let her sleep how she wants and put the bumper pads on? I believe if she wasn’t getting her legs stuck, she’d be able to move away.

I’ve just never dealt with this at such a young age!

Just for fun, she also wants to sit up. If it’s not bed time or nap time, she has to be sitting lol
