PCOS or not PCOS?
So my period history had not always been the best. When I was a teenager, I'd have pretty irregular periods. Into my early twenties, this continued and I'd be so late as 3 weeks throwing my whole cycle off. When I was 23 I started on antidepressants and for some reason this seemed to help regulate my periods. (my doc had done a full workup, labs, and everything and all of my hormones were stable then). I'm now 26, and stopped my antidepressants in September. Since January, my periods have been weird and I've been having spotting and bleeding in between them. After my period in January I spotted for 2 days. In March, I had a period that started on my predicted date that consisted of brown blood at a light flow that lasted 8 days (my normal period lasts 4) and then a week later I started another period that was more like my usual period. I was supposed to see my doctor but with the COVID situation, that's clearly been postponed. I've not had any pain and my periods normally are not unreasonably painful. Day one I normally have cramping but the subsequent days, none. My flows are not heavy at all (day one is normally a little heavy but nothing even somewhat extreme) My medical coworker friends that I've asked seem to think PCOS but I just don't know what to think. Also should add I've NEVER been on any form of BC. I have a blood clotting disorder, called Factor V Leiden that makes me more susceptible to clots and can't do hormonal BC with it.
I just started my May cycle and was 8 days late this time and started having nausea about 3 days prior to starting and still having nausea as well and normally never have nausea.
*Not currently TTC, but not preventing either. Hoping to start TTC early 2021 and trying to get things figured out by then.
