Implantation bleeding???

I started spotting at about noon today, 6-7 days before my period is supposed to start. I usually have a very heavy flow (especially the first 3 days of my period) and it’s been about 12 hours since the spotting started and it’s still a very light pink/orangey color, and not even enough to leave anything on the panty liner I’ve been wearing. I’ve also been experiencing very light cramping and back pains on & off throughout the day. Could this be implantation starting??
