Motherhood comes in so many different forms. Mothers can have living children, lost children, step, foster, adopted, and struggled to have children. They may have carried a child, some who they never met, or created life that they are waiting to meet. Some mothers have children without any biological ties, others have stepped in for family members who weren’t able to care for their kids on their own. To all the mothers out there: the mom with children in their arms (no matter how they got there), the infertility mothers who yearn to care for a child and whose dream of children has already taught them to sacrifice their bodies and budgets, the “substitute” mothers who really are mothers without all the credit, and to the grieving mothers whose child is in heaven or no longer with them. I see you. You are special. I hope today brings you more happiness than sadness and that people remember to include all forms of motherhood as they share gratitude today. Not every mother holds her children in her arms… sometimes they are hidden in her heart. 💗 . . . . . #mothersday #mother #infertilityawareness #ivfmama #waitingisnoteasy #infertilitysucks #mothersdaylove #pregnantafterinfertility #notallmothersgivebirth #momsareamazing #nontraditionalfamily
