Keto diet questions? 11 months PP.
I was curious if anyone had any suggestions/advice regarding Keto? I’m not looking to follow a diet hardcore (for lack of better words) but I’m interested in healthy eating and making some lifestyle changes, without stressing me.
A little background info- I am 32. Ive always maintained a somewhat active/healthy eating lifestyle through my 20’s, but would fluctuate about 15 pounds here and there when I started being careless and slacked on working out. I’ve def never been petite. I believe I have more of an athletic build, but curvy also. I have a lot of muscle in my arms/legs. I feel best and my norm is at around 150-155, I’m 5’7. I’ve never really followed a diet, I just try to be consciousness and I also enjoy exercising. Any time I noticed I gained a few pounds I usually would just have to exercise more and obviously put down the sweets /etc and get off my butt and I’d lose it.
I went through fertility treatments the last 3 years and had my first baby via
1 year ago! And then breast fed for several months. I gained way too much during pregnancy 🤔 So my body has definitely been through it (although very worth it!) and I realize I’m not in my 20s anymore and it just doesn’t seem to want to come off. I also can only exercise when baby is sleeping. I’m still trying to figure it all out! Lol. I def do not expect to get where I once was, but I really would like to lose some weight to make myself feel better, and obviously healthier. I could stand to lose about 30 pounds. I’m curious about the structure of Keto and any meal/snack recommendations and also what to absolutely stay away from? I have no clue but I’m willing to try! I’ve seen great success with this. We want to try for #2 soon but I really would like to lose a few first. Thank you in advance!!☺️
