Is this wrong of me?

My boyfriends best friend is getting married in september, and my boyfriend is a groomsmen in his wedding. I don’t want to go because i won’t know anyone there and I don’t want to sit by myself! Should I feel guilty for not wanting to go?

I’ve been in this situation many times and still always go. Once dinner is over he’ll be with you so why not go.

I think it sounds like a good opportunity to meet some of his friends. I would be happy to be invited, weddings are super expensive so a lot of the time plus ones who haven’t met the people aren’t allowed to go!

You should definitely go. My bf was the best man and his best friends wedding and they ended up seating me with the other groomsmens girlfriends or wives. I also went to the wives bridal shower. I wasnt "friends" with and of them and I have the absolute worst social anxiety but I did it for my bf... not being there would've made both him and I look bad.
