Well I've not dilated from 1/1.5cm at all. I've moved up in effacement but not dilating. I've had ridiculous amounts of contractions and a sweep. Lost my mucus plug after the sweep, Still nothing. Then last night I spent the entire night in labor and delivery because I had intense contractions 3-4 minutes apart for 8 hours! They held me, hoping the contractions would move the dilation forward. Around 2am the intensity started to go away and then slowly the contractions backed off. They came in and checked me, nothing! 3 am we were sent home (hour drive from the hospital). Today the Dr scheduled me for an induction on Sunday and prescribed me some muscle relaxers because I'm so incredibly sore and haven't been able to sleep in 2 days with all these contractions. This has been going on over a week now. Anyone else experience this?
