High school crush

Okay so a little backstory I met him when I was a freshman (14) he was a junior (16) I quickly turned 15 after about a month of knowing each other. We used to talk a lot and I had a crush on him and later found out he had a crush on me. Fast forward to end of my sophomore year (16) and end of his senior year ( just turned 18) is it wrong that we have reconnected I am almost 17. Currently it’s nothing more than flirting and banter. And he sadly moved away so even if we weren’t in a pandemic we couldn’t see each other irl. We have a year and 3 month difference but have known each other for over a year now. It’s never been more and probably won’t ever be but is it okay? I just want some opinions (nothing sexual has happened) and I’m not the kind of girl to do nudes so take that thought away. Is fun flirting and banter okay?
