HELP - How Many Weeks?

Question

I got a BFP May 13, 2020 and went to the doctor that Friday and HCG levels were 143 then I went back Tuesday to recheck HCG levels and they were 724. The doctor told me she believes I am 2-3 weeks pregnant. My LMP was April 9, 2020. I am so confused because that would put me at 6 weeks.

Is the doctor going by gestational age? 
Did they set your due date?

April 30 - 9 dpo -  hcg 9
May 1.    11 dpo - hcg 40
May 3.   13 dpo hcg - 106
May 5.   15 dpo hcg -  241 
Ultrasound On 5/19 put me at 6 weeks 2 days

I’m 6 weeks 4 days my last period was April 7th- had an ultrasound on Tuesday.

Your doctor would have done an ultrasound to confirm if you were around 6 weeks (some of them do at least) And when you get an ultrasound they will tell you how far along you are

You are 6 weeks if that’s what LMP says. Hcg is just a reference range.

You could have ovulated later in your cycle, but I would have your doctor continue to monitor your hcg levels.
