Good guy or absolute dipshit

So my boyfriend and I have been doing long distance since we got together four year’s ago. I have my AP Statistics exam today and I’ve been nervous about it. He called me this morning to talk while he drives to work (like he does every morning) and he hung up and didn’t say anything about my test (very unlike him) he then called me back not even a minute later and said “sorry I forgot to tell you good luck on your test”

He usually is very intentional and attentive about this kind of thing and it makes me smile because the only other boyfriend I’ve had was not(would constantly tell me he’s cheating “just to see my reaction” and gave me an eating disorder) this guy understands and makes it a point to call/text/video chat at least once everyday usually more. I feel lucky. Also I’m 18 (turning 19 in Sept.) he just turned 17. Are we too young to get married? I hear it a lot from my mother and from coworkers but his family has told me before that they don’t know why we aren’t engaged yet. If it helps we’ve been together for 4 years and have been with eachother through more hardships than most adults can even imagine.
