I would ask your doctor if protein shakes r ok. I have read that protein powders can be harmful. So maybe offer options of premade shakes to doctor and see if they r ok.

Look into Vital Proteins. I use the Collegan Peptides and it can be dissolved in any hot or cold beverage. I add it to my coffee every morning. It’s 18g protein per serving. I’m not a fan of the taste or ingredients that go into protein shakes so this works really well for me.
