Is your toddler excited about the new baby?

My son is 2.5. He will point at my tummy and say “Hi Baby” and give it cuddles and kisses. But I still don’t think he actually gets that there is an actual baby in there. Either way, it’s super cute and I know he will be thrilled once his baby brother is here.

My son is only 16 months and doesn’t have a clue what’s round the corner. I almost feel guilty 😰😔

My son is 2 on Tuesday. Sometimes he sticks his tummy out and points to it saying "baby", so I think I've confused him 😂

My 3 year old is excited. He likes bringing my belly toys and "reading" to the baby. He's even set aside a couple of his toys and declared them just for the baby. 
My 20 month old has absolutely no idea about the baby. My first son could kind of understand he was coming at the same age. But as far as my 20 month old's speech and what he understands goes, he is developmentally about the level of a 12 month old. So even though I've told him and talked to him about the baby, he still has absolutely no clue.

My little guy will be 2 next month. He hugs and kisses my tummy all the time and says “baby” or “hi baby”. He knows what babies are and loves them. I try and talk to him about it as much as possible. So I’m hoping it isn’t a complete shock for him lol

I dont think my daughter understands. She just turned one. But I think she will adjust fine.

I don’t think my daughter quite understands what’s going on lol. She’s 2.5 and she points to my tummy when I ask her “where’s your baby sister?” but I don’t think it’s clicked yet.
