NIPT and drug screen?

I read someone say they did a drug test when they did their NIPT and failed. My question is. Is that common do they always do a drug screen with NIPT? I was smoking weed before finding out and would hate to test positive at the dr. I also would really like to get the test done.

They do a drug screen in all pregnancies. I got mine done before my NIPT test.

most test at least once during pregnancy. mine did a few times once a trimester. she always told me but ya they do usualllllyyy test but depends on ur office. if they test you and comes back positive just be honest about smoking beforehand you'll be okay

My doctor does a drug/Sti screening at first appointment. Did with my first and second. With my first they didn’t even tell me that’s what they were testing for I was just told to pee in a cup and got blood work done.
