Sunscreen recommendations ??

She’s is about to be 1 and it is finally getting nice outside!! Yay! Does anyone recommend a sunscreen that they really like or maybe their pediatrician recommended??

I like Baby Bum and babyganics. I only got baby bum and Sun Bum (for me) this year. I’ve also heard good things about Blue Lizard (I almost bought some today). I usually put my kids in long sleeved rash guards when playing in water because it’s so much easier to sunscreen less of them. Kids act like alligators when it comes to sunscreen application. My ped recommends mineral based and non-aerosol (because kids can’t hold their breath and it’s not good to inhale).

I have Beach Bum baby sunscreen and Babyganics. I haven't used either yet. The babyganics one has no scent and is made with zinc and is mineral based and 50spf.

We use baby bum sunscreen (we use this shampoo on him too) or aveeno baby! Both are
made with zinc oxide 👍🏻.

I don't think it really matters as long as it's safe for kids, about SPF 50, and protects against UVA and UVB. 👍🏼
