rise of teenagers ttc?

has it always been like this or is it just now that im really noticing the rise of young teenagers like 15/16 year olds trying to conceive ?? that is crazy to me. i know that i thought i was mature at that age but you truly dont realize how undeveloped and immature you are at that age till you get older.

Yeah I had my first at 19 (4 days before I turned 20) and I feel like I was way in over my head 🥴🤣 I got married and had more kids after that but the first really does change EVERYTHING! I think the problem is you really can't explain to someone how hard it is.. it's one of those things you realize after the fact! It scares me thinking girls that young want a baby though.. they're still babies themselves!! I feel like I'm still a baby!! I'm 22 and pregnant with my third but I have a husband and we own our house and cars etc.. still though it's never easy!!

Where I grew up, my town had one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the province. My high school had a nursery in it. Teachers used it but so did the students. Seeing all those kids having kids made me so anxious.. I didn’t have sex til after high school. Some of them went on to be AMAZING moms, others... but majority of them never left that small town, hang out with the same crowds going no where & doing not good things. I find it crazy that there are teens TRYING to get pregnant. I understand things happen but actively trying.. those poor babies suffer if they don’t step up to the plate or their parents suffer taking care of the grandkids so they have a good life.

I had my son when I was 28 (last June) and I am 26w pregnant with my second and I told my husband who is 7 years older than me that I can imagine doing this when I was younger- lol. It’s no joke and I know two will be even more to juggle but I definitely would not have had the ability to juggle motherhood, full time career and a marriage. 🤣
