So I’m in need of some help. My father in law told his son and girlfriend that quote It’s tradition that when girls come over that they have to hug me. One of the girls is dating his son and she’s not comfortable with his dad hugging her. She has put out her hand multiple times asking for a hand shake. But when she does that he has pulled her in for a hug. She than made her boyfriend talk to his dad about it. The father told his son that she will have to deal with it. I’m nervous myself because as we we start having children is he going to respect my children down the road? If they say no to him? What should I do? I’m also concerned because he was molested as a teenager so could he be acting out what happened to him onto us women? Or no? He hasn’t gotten therapy yet for what happened. So ladies please help me out. I’m super scared for my children’s safety.
