Pathetic periods 😔 Anyone else?

My periods are pathetic I feel like there’s no real blood or it’s not enough to make a proper womb lining and I’m worried my fertitity is declining😟 anyone have any experience of this or reassurance to give me??

I’m 31 and not on any birth control any more.

I had the copper IUD implant from age 18-28 (I know it’s long!!) and before that I was almost constantly on the pill from age 15-18.

So I don’t fully remember what my period was like before I was on any birth control. I remember it was really light when I was on the pill but I was always using tampons / pads so I never really saw the blood in the same way as now where I use a cup. But I know that when I had the IUD it was always bright red blood and a lot like really heavy and painful.

Now my period is so light - like it only ever fills maximum a third of my cup and I leave it in all day for at least 10-12 hours, and the blood is never full bright red it’s always like dark red-brown or purplish, so it looks like it’s always old blood all the time.

I’m worried that this is a sign that my fertility is falling, I am still ovulating tho cos I feel it and I notice my CM changing.

I don’t have any kids, I had one ectopic pregnancy last year which ended with emergency surgery at 8 weeks. But me and my partner would like to have kids soon but not for another year or 2.

Has anyone else experienced their periods getting more feeble as they got older and did you still manage to have successful pregnancies with a pathetic period??
