What should I do when my long distance boyfriend always plays video games instead of talking to me?

He is in the military (Marines) so I get why he plays video games (I’m ok with it) but lately it’s got to the point where we barely talk. We FaceTimed for an hour and a half and the only thing he said to me was hey babe. It didn’t always use to be like this the first 3 months of our relationship were good, but once he got his Xbox back from his parents everything changed. I was even pregnant with his baby until I had a late miscarriage at 17 weeks, but even then the only time he talked to me was when had something to do with the baby sometimes not even that.

I agree with @brianella  me and my bf were long distance when he was in the marines also and he found time to talk every single day. He’d face time while he was playing video games sometimes and I’d talk to him and his friends. I’m sorry but you need to find someone that will always make time for you and will adjust his behavior if it’s effecting the relationship.

If I can pass on one thing to any women Inhave learned over the years is put yourself, your needs, wants FIIRRrrRsstttt. A man should not reap the benefit of having you in his life unless he makes an investment. To me a women is like soil...... he has to plant the seed and once he plants the seed thennnnnnn and only then do u give him fruit. I hope this makes sense. If a person can not and does not make time for you in this digital age..... its a red flag for sure. Especially since thats yournonly mehod of communcating.

Also when a person shows u who they are believe them. Why would u still attach yourself to someone who basically abandoned you when you were pregnant. Is that the type of life partner u want. A person shpuld add value and enhance your life mentally physically emotionally spiritually and financially. 
      Allow yourself the chance to find someone who can love and support you the way you want and need or u will pay a great price later. Imagine if u had the baby.... hes still be playing xbox and leaving unstruggling with the responsibility and feeling unloved. Dont ignore the signs. When you are dating you shoukd be evaluating if a person is able, capable and willing to make a good life partner. Are they motivated in life? Are they seeking financial stability? How donthey treat you when they are angry? How do they treat you when u express dissatisfaction? How do they make u feel in a day to day basis? Is the relationship solely based on hos sexual needs? Do he support you when u sad, lonely, hurt, or express need? How does he treat others? Hows his relationship woth orher family members? When u are dating u are basically screening and vetting foe the best candidate for life partner... never forget that. Thats how you g girls end up emotionally and mentally invested with guys who mistreat them.... because they dont actuvely screen and cut their losses. I hope this helps and it can motivate you since you are still very young.
