Was anyone here raised on a farm?

So trigger warning here. All things on farms aren’t fluffy and fun.

If you were raised on a farm or live on one you know that. I’m noticing a similarities with some animals born here and I want to know if I’m silly for making a connection or not.

Last year we had a pony born here with a wry mouth. We were worried about her nursing and had the vet come out. The vet said it can happen if they run out of room in the womb and should straighten out over time and it did. She’s a healthy pony now and she lives on my moms ex boyfriends property.

A few months ago, we had a goat have 4 babies. The 4th baby was born dead. It had no eyes. It’s head looked smashed on one side, and it had a wry mouth. The rest of the babies are completely normal and weaned now and strong. I asked the vet what could have caused that. He said it ran out of room to grow.

I just hatched chickens. I had 3 more hatching. I noticed one had internally pipped and suddenly died. I wanted to know why. I wanted to know what had caused it because if it had been my fault I could have learned from it.

So I open the egg. It had no eyes, a wry mouth, and a smashed head. This egg was a normal sized egg, no smaller than the rest yet I have 4 completely normal fluffy baby chickens. The air cell was also completely normal.

I’m starting to wonder if there is something we are feeding our animals that is causing birth defects in their offspring. If I sound like an insane person let me know. But I’m completely serious.

There’s got to be some kind of correlation here. There may be something growing here naturally that they are eating and I mean chickens do peck at the grass.

I just feel like I’m losing my mind seeing the same birth defects over and over again in different animals.

If you weren’t raised on a farm and read anyways I understand this is really sad and it’s too early for that shit. So here’s a healthy baby getting frustrated with me and looking at me like my name is Karen because I kept coming in and checking on them every 2 seconds while they were trying to nap
