What do I need for hospital bag ?

Hi ladies what would I need to take for hospital bag for me & Baby boy ?

I actually was about to pack my hospital bag but I'm formula feeding so I wanted to call hospital and find out if I had to bring my own and bottles.
I'm glad I called because they told me they have EVERYTHING for baby and myself. That I would only need to pack clothes for our departure home and if I wanted special pajamas or toiletries. 
I'd say call them and see what they provide. I'm glad I did because I can save all my post partum supplies for my house and who knows maybe even return some.
I will be bringing my own socks, pajamas, robe and toiletries as I want to ensure I'm comfy.

Chapstick and lotion, the hospital air is so dry. I’d pack a going home outfit for you. I thought I’d just wear the outfit I wore there home but my water broke in it and we went straight into the hospital from where we were and I didn’t have anything. It was a hassle trying to get someone to bring me an outfit.

This is what I had in mine.
For myself:
Coming home outfit (or I was going to wear the clothes i went to hospital in)
Nightshirt
Pjs (shirts and strappy top) 
Toiletries; toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hair brush, bobbles, body wash and washcloth.
Slippers
Socks (I packed 1 pair of ankle socks, 1 pair of normal socks and 1 pair of fluffy socks)
Bra/maternity bra
Underwear (I packed like 5 pairs but ended up using woman’s incontinence pants, maybe embarrassing but they were honestly a god send with the heavy bleeding I had minimal leakage) 
Maternity pads (I took a pack of 12 but the hospital provided me with some so didn’t really need them) 
I packet my tablet, Nintendo ds, some puzzle books and chargers.
Also packed some cans of pop, water and some snacks. 
For baby:
New born sleepsuits x2
0-3 month sleepsuits x2
Bibs x2
Hats x2 
Nappies x10 
Pack of baby wipes (some hospitals prefer cotton wool and water though) 
I packed ready made bottles of formula with teats as well just cos I didn’t know if I was going to bf or not.
Snowsuit x1 
I packed a lot more than I needed but it was better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it especially during this pandemic, as no one could have brought me anything. Hope this helps 😊

Our hospital has everything. 
Food, baby products, Even personal hygiene products and on top of that they even sent me home with about a weeks supply of post partum care products. I suggest talking to your hospital about what they have but here is my list:
-baby coming home outfit
-my coming home outfit(I lived in the gown the whole time last time so I'm not bringing anything else)
-carseat
-my own pillow and blanket(they had them... I just like mine. A towel is another thing to consider)
-entertainment (tablet, charger.... Book? They did have wifi too so I mostly watched netflix)
-extension cord (so my phone and tablet can reach my bed... This was the most unexpected must have last time)
-hygiene stuff(maybe some makeup for after photos, my own lotion, chapstick, toothbrush, toothpaste. .. Even tho they do have some. I'm fine using their body wash and washclothes)
And that's it. It's all in one bag on rollers to make hauling baby and bag down much easier. Last time I had everything separated into 2 bags because it felt "more organized"🙄... Bad idea. 🤦‍♀️

All I needed w my 2nd was nightgown nursing bra and toiletries and long phone charger. Outfit for home for baby and 2 sleepers.

Depends on what you hospital provides. Mine provided all toiletries and stuff for baby. I brought slippers, clothes to leave in for me/baby, phone charger, hair brush, and some snacks hubby wanted and thats about it. My hospital gave me toothbrush/paste, shampoo/conditioner, diapers, it had a free snack/beverage station for between meals, halo swaddles, everything. Pack minimally...you will end up not needing half the crap people suggest. I even used the hospital gowns the 2 days I was there as the were easy to nurse in and breathed well. But call the hospital and see what is provided then go from there.
