am i bi or pan?

i’ve identified as bisexual for almost three years now. but i don’t think i would mind being in a relationship with someone gender fluid or non binary. can i still call myself bi?

Bisexual is being attracted to two or more genders. Being bi means their gender can have some bearing on how attracted you are to them. Being pan from my understanding means you are more attracted to the person regardless of their gender. I’m a bisexual non binary person who is more attracted to non binary and women identifying people than men. Bisexual does not leave out non-binary, trans and gender fluid people.

Absolutely. Bisexuality does not exclude nb or genderfluid people. However I encourage you to use the label (or no label at all) that feels right for you. Don't rush things and take time to get to know yourself and to see what works for you.

Pansexual is experiencing attraction with no regard to gender. Gender does not play a role in attraction.
It’s a small distinction but there is a distinction.

Yes, you can still call yourself bi. Gender/gender identity play more of a role in a bisexual person's attraction to others. With pan people it doesn't.
