Where can you get a job that allows piercings?

A lot of jobs don’t allow facial piercings. Just put clear ones in or take them out for your shift it really isn’t that big of a deal

I think you really have to ask yourself what’s more important the job itself or the piercings?

Alternative stores like hot topic, pacsun, and Spencer’s all allowed them when I was growing up. Most of my jobs haven’t had an issue with my nostril piercing as long as it’s not obnoxious jewelry. I haven’t found many places that allow septum piercings so I just use the horseshoe barbell and flip it when working. I know PetSmart and Starbucks allow unnaturally colored hair. I’m not sure if they allow piercings.

Some of it depends on where you live...I live in the Pacific Northwest and it is common to see people working with tattoos/piercings ad long as they aren't obnoxious or vulgur. Even doctors/bankers/mortage brokers ect will have sleeves or an eyebrow piercing. My cousin moved to Oklahoma and had to remove all her piercings besides 1 per ear for any job she applied to and had to cover her tattoos. She currently works at a Hollister like clothing store. Its always a question you can ask at an interview or of you get to shadow an employee a good one to ask.

Depends on what type of piercings and how many? Also depends on your manager, not necessarily just the job itself. A retail position is most likely your best bet where they’d be okay with facial piercings. However, I have worked at one particular retail store and the manager was super weird about piercings and visible tattoos. I only had a tiny nose piercing and she asked me to remove it. She also got all weird because I was wearing a white T-shirt and you could see my tattoo through the shirt on the back of my shoulder. But 99% of all other places I’ve worked at did not care in the slightest about piercings, or tattoos. I’ve worked in a home decor retail store, a doctors office, a call center, a salon, various coffee shops as a barista and supervisor/manager...etc. Other than the one manager, no one else cared and they were all jobs where you’d expect a few small tasteful piercings to be okay.

What type of job? Are we talking career wise? My hospital staff friends were asked to take nose piercings out but extra ear piercings were ok in most instances.
I work in a law firm and no rules against it. One woman had the septum piercing, which HR wasn’t thrilled about for meetings with clients. That firm we also could only wear pink/red nail polish. 
But you have to ask yourself, is the piercing worth it?
