How risky do you think it’ll be to travel 9 hrs away when 34-35 weeks pregnant? This is our first..

Talk to your doctor. Most first time moms go over by a week. 9 hours may be too far for your doctor to feel comfortable. I also think it may depend on how long you will be gone for. I didn't travel at the end of my pregnancy but I did around 6 months and I did consult with my doctor because it would be a lot of walking and I was already having some pretty bad swelling that wasn't concerning but may have gotten worse by being on my feet for so long

Are you driving or flying? Are you going somewhere where theres reliable medical help if you need it? Have you had any pregnancy complications? Can you stop every hour to get up and walk? Are you going somewhere ok for end of oregnancy (not a high elevation?).
I would call your OB and ask but I personally wouldnt just in case.

We live in Texas and would be going to gulf shores Alabama. We will be driving. I’ll be 34 weeks when we leave and 35 weeks when we get back. Only a week long. 
Only complications are with baby. He has fibular hemimelia and I’ve been seeing a specialist. But as far as pregnancy itself no I’ve been fine. I will consult with my doctor. Thank you
