2 Birth controls ...

So I am on 2 BC, Implant & The Pill, Ive been on the implant for about 10 months. I just got on the pill a month ago because i would bleed for over 30 days while on the implant but i didn't have cramps. I was told that the pill would regulate it, so that's why I got the pill. I just got my period yesterday and it was VERY heavy bleeding and my cramps came back !! Today I was keeping count and i've went through 3 pads in the past 6 hours ... Is this normal or am I bleeding too much ? This happened before I got on the Implant which is why I got the implant...
