Starting our fertility journey

Kat

My hubby and I have started our journey for

IUI

. After surgery for him with no success we began looking into fertility options. I have had more in-depth testing and have found that I have a uterine septum. It will require surgery, but it sounds like it's not invasive and is minimal.

Have any of you gone through this surgery? If so did you continue with

IUI

or did you wait to see if that fixes your problem and try to conceive naturally? Did you have to have another HSG test? (Mine was painful and I am hoping I don't have to do it again)

Thanks!

Update:

Surgery is scheduled next week and doctor said will talk more about

IUI

in the future after I recover. He is concerned about my AMH levels and my ovarian reserve? Any one have things similar? What does that mean?

Update:

Well not really to much of an update...

Surgery went well and we were hopeful to hear something or at least talk about next steps. Unfortunately my cycle started earlier than they wanted so we have to wait another month. Not thrilled about another set back and waiting more just to find out what the hell our options are, but I guess better safe than sorry? I'm just soooo ready to start trying for a child. We are going on three years now and I think I'm going crazy.

Baby dust to us all! 😊
