first time c section ..

hi may mommy’s!! i hope everyone and their newest additions are doing well :)

I wanted to check in with some other c section mamas... how are you all feeling? had an unplanned c section sunday 5/17 after 17 hours of labor just for my kids head to get stuck 🤦🏼‍♀️ and my cervix to swell and not be able to start pushing. I made it all the way to 9.5cms after 12 hours of cervadil the day before then 17 hours after starting pitocin.

my recovery is going well, can’t complain much. my swelling has gone down drastically (thank gosh) and I don’t really have a ton of pain, just sore sometimes. im back up walking around the neighborhood with little dude in his stroller. my bleeding is almost gone, but sometimes if I overdo it, it picks up.

how is everyone else doing? especially if this was your first c section, how do you feel? second time c section moms, how is #2 compared to #1?
