Share your IVF experiences ?

I have endometriosis so as some of you ladies may already know it’s sometimes not easy for women like me to conceive. Every time I get my period I literally feel so depressed (& in pain obviously) but I just go into a really dark place because we’re finally at a point in our lives where we both agree we’re ready. We’ve been talking about exploring the option of ivf. Can any of you ladies share some of your experiences with the process? I would really appreciate it

I’m just starting the process. But I’m doing egg retrieval for surrogacy because I can’t physically carry. I’m hoping to start stims in July and transfer later August 🤞🏼

I have suspected endometriosis (my specialist said I have all the symptoms but she didn’t want to do the surgery to check since she said if they scrape my ovaries I could lose some of the reserve and IVF is a way to get pregnant with endo so no point). 
Anyways, IVF was draining but 100% worth it. My husband and I both went into it thinking, if it’s a success then wonderful and if it isn’t, then we at least know we did everything we possibly could. 
For retrieval- the shots were much easier than I expected. They were all in the belly and I was able to do them myself since they truly didn’t hurt (one stung but that was the worst of it). On retrieval day I was under anesthesia and when I woke up they told me they retrieved 40 eggs (we had only seen 21 on ultrasounds so we were shocked). The next day they called and said of the 40, 19 were mature and 16 were fertilized. 5 days later I got the call that 6 became blastocysts and they did a biopsy of each for PGS testing and I would hear back within 2 weeks. That two weeks I waited for period and it came right around the time the call came through. They said I had 2 viable embryos. I was super disappointed since we went from 40 eggs to 2 viable embryos. But excited since we have 1 boy and 1 girl so we could have one of each!
Next step was a hysteroscopy. They found a uterine septum so had to remove it. It delayed my transfer by 2 months. Once I was cleared for transfer, we started me on birth control again and then started the next round of shots. These ones were intramuscular but I was still able to inject myself which gave me a ton of confidence. Once my lining was good, we did the trigger shot and prepared for transfer! We transferred on January 9th and 6 days later I tested positive. Then the next day I began spotting and I was so nervous. They moved up my beta to 9dpt rather than waiting until 12. My beta showed levels of 202. Then two days later i went back for a repeat beta since they said numbers need to double and I was at 610! Luckily spotting stopped and all was normal. 
I’m now 22 almost 23 weeks with my little boy and in a couple years we will transfer little girl. After I give birth in September, they are tying my tubes so we don’t risk a natural pregnancy. Due to having 40 eggs and only 2 viable embryos, we decided it would be too risky to have a natural one if it was even possible due to the endo. 
I wish you so much luck and strength! It is an exhausting process but very rewarding.
