What to add to a baby registry?

First time mom and dad here. Both of us are literally clueless on what we need for our future baby besides a crib, diapers, a breast pump or formula, a car seat and some clothes.

Also I was looking around on other people’s nurseries and it seemed like a lot of things they asked for were kinda not really necessities.

I guess I’m curious to hear from moms who have had their fair share of experience with your own registry or other people’s to see what all we need and stuff that is helpful but I wouldn’t of even thought of it.

For example, maybe a neck pillow saved your life and you think I should definitely add it to my registry, let me know!
