How did you find out you were pregnant??

Question

Well i went to the beach with my family and i had cramps thinking i was going to get my period i never track down my period 1 week later its my brothers birthday i still had cramp feeling so the next day i asked my cousin if its normal to have cramps and no period so shes like no you should take a pregnancy test so i did and i had never taken a test before so i was confused on what to do it came out positive my heart dropped I couldn't believe it i was nervous but excited i didnt know how to tell my mom but later on i told her she was disappointed but happy 💙👶🏽 I am now 36 weeks and 2 days pregnant w/ a  baby boy

My 1 1/2 year old daughter walked up to me and lifted my shirt, pointed at my belly, and said "baby!". I laughed then the next morning I woke up and took a test for the fun of it and it was positive! Crazy huh? 😍

I had heartburn for nearly a week straight before my period would have come. I've maybe had that a handful of times in my entire life. 
Also VERY moody. 
I have always been strictly regular too so I really didn't need to guess at all. Despite having been trying for the previous 4 months. It was finally obvious. 
I didn't test until the beginning of the following month (September). Which I was estimated to be 6w4d when tested!

I went through the same thing. I was cramping for like a month, waiting and waiting for my period to come out. I decided to take a pregnancy test. My first one was negative - because I think I took it wrong. The second one was positive. So... When I saw the positive, I scheduled an appt to take a pregnancy test. Went in, got my blood drawn, waited for results, and here I am 13w6d 😊

My husband told me I was Prego! We had
Plans for Cooking a nice steak and seafood dinner at home for our date night. We had bought tests because we knew that it was almost time to test. I was 10 dpo and I had planned on drinking with our dinner so I snuck upstairs and went ahead and tested. Sure enough it was positive. I cldnt believe he was right because it was our first month trying and we only had sex 1x during my fertile wk due to work and other kids activities keeping us busy!

I found out at 3 weeks 2 days. I had some strange cramping but shrugged it off to just getting period cramps. My husband and I had been trying or gone of of birth control for 4 months. And within that time my sister and sister in law both announced they were pregnant. And although thrilled beyond words for them I was  a little sad that I wasn't pregnant yet. So since we had been trying I already had a few pregnancy tests in the bathroom that say you can test up to 6 days early. I figured hey it's Friday why don't I just test so I know if I can drink or not at the dodger game tomorrow? Honestly figured it would be negative, the second line was sooooooo faint that I was texting a friend saying "ugh I'm so bummed out I took an early test and it was negative again. I want it so bad I'm almost imagining that second line" and I sent her the pick.  She's like congrats!!! Your Preggo. So I went and got a digital test and sure enough! I was pregnant. My husbands birthday was the following week and so when he got home that night I told him I had an early bday present for him and gave him a gift bag and in it was the test and a daddy is the best. onesie. He was so excited.

My boyfriend and I weren't trying to have a baby so it was a complete surprise! We had talked about having kids and it's something we both wanted so it didn't scare us when we found out. I hadn't been feeling well, I was super tired and always nauseous, I hadn't missed my period yet so hadn't assumed I was pregnant. It was exhausting me to be constantly unwell so I made an appointment at my doctors. As soon as he started to ask my symptoms he said he knew what was wrong but just to be sure he'd do some blood work - naturally when it came back my hormones were crazy and he confirmed my pregnancy! It was so amazing and completely shocking but the best moment of my life ☺️ I sometimes feel a little sad that I didn't get to experience finding out by HPT but will never forget finding out 💘💘

I hadn't gotten pregnant for over a year after the birth of my second daughter (who is now about two and a half, so we waited a bit first), so we really didn't think about trying for a boy anymore and I started focusing on other things. Around the Fourth of July his family repeatedly told us that we didn't need any more kids and three was too many so we talked about my husband getting a vasectomy. I had a very light period with a bit of heavy bleeding on the first of July so I figured I wasnt nor was I going to get pregnant again anyway. I had never stopped cramping after that period though. I had my 21st birthday on july 9th and got to do zero drinking (first sign from God? Lol). On July 17th I went with my best friend on a short four day vacation to the beach and we had to stop every couple hours or less for me to pee (which wasn't a problem because she was already pregnant at the time). She kept swearing up and down I was pregnant and I laughed it off. When I got home, I was struck with crippling nausea. I laid down and went to bed and took a test the next morning, which was negative. I let it go and drank a glass of "I'm not pregnant" wine. The next night, again, I became super super nauseous so I took another test right before my husband went to work. When it didn't come up positive right away, I walked out and told him it was negative so he could leave. After he left within a minute, I came back to the bathroom to throw it away, and to my surprise it was indeed positive. That was a fun thing to explain to him. (:

We had been trying for 18 months. Had started talking about what we would need to do to adopt-and that really excited me. The month we conceived I wasn't expecting it because hubby had gotten hurt at church camp and so we only DTD once my fertile week (conceived 3 days later) Took a test (I was a POAS addict!) at what should have been 14dpo, negative. A couple of days later I was visiting my mom and bought another test-you know, just because. Was not expecting it to be positive. So when that second pink line showed up while I was still on the toilet I just about fell over! My mom was the first to find out-hubby doesn't know that. I'm now 19w2d.

It was a Saturday morning. My husband had only been "trying" for a month. We didn't try at all, just went with the flow. It was also three days away from my expected period. I went to the bathroom, saw the pregnancy test, and thought,"Oh gosh, why not?" I used the cheap Walmart test, so one...two...three drops of urine. I put the box over the test so I wouldn't drive myself crazy watching it and I set my timer for 3 minutes. Every woman knows that's THE longest 3 minutes known to man. The timer went off and I thought,"There's no way it's positive. It's only our first month." I very casually take the box off the top of test and look. "Holy shit. I see a second line." I thought. "Oh my gosh... That's totally positive!" I slap my hand over my mouth to keep from screaming. My stepson was in the next room and I didn't want to scare him. I took a few minutes to calm down and called my husband in. He walked in, saw the test and said,"Are you serious?!" with a huge smile on his face. I nodded and we hugged for about a full minute. His last words were, before walking out of the bathroom, "I told you it wouldn't take long." It was a moment we had been looking forward to for a long time following my miscarriage in December 2013. I'm now almost 26 weeks with a sweet baby boy, Thomas. We couldn't be happier.

I realized my boobs had been hurting at work and then I just happened to look at my Glow app and noticed I was 5 days late. I subconsciously knew already so taking the test wasn't a huge shock to get a positive. :-)
