I wouldn’t be able to sleep without it.  Worth every penny for me.  Baby is 9 months old now.  We’ve never had a single false alarm.

They’re being sued for false alarms and no alarms when baby was actually in distress. It gives parents a false sense of security. Unless your baby has medical issues (which your doctor would provide you with a medical grade one) then there’s no reason to have it.

I had a NICU baby and the nurses were talking about how they don’t like products like that because they often give parents false security. If the doctors think a baby needs monitoring at home they will send home proper and reliable equipment. Personally I would never use one
