What would you add?

I live in a basement suite so im not allowed to hang pictures on the walls unfortunately. I wish i could! What would you add to the place? What do you think is missing? I personally love the black, white and gold look and am not super open to adding pops of colour.

Maybe you can get a thin console table behind the sectional and prop canvases up behind it. It looks bare above the sectional, living area.

I think you have a nice home; very cohesive. Unfortunately, you’re limited since you’re not able to hang anything on the walls. I don’t have any recommendations other than maybe a rug under your dining table..?

I’ve seen adhesive strip type things to hang pictures up, that some places will let you use? They don’t cause any damage... We weren’t allowed to make a hole in the wall for nails to hang stuff up so we used those instead and that was ok.. 
But if not, it looks great anyway!

If your able to use push pins maybe you could do a tapestry? That’s what I always did in my apartments since I had the same issue with command hooks

Some alternatives to covering part of a wall space would be having a giant floor vase with fake flowers, a ladder shelf is always cute, or maybe even a sculpture 🤷🏻‍♀️
