Can raw meat bacteria go through bags?

Question

So for example, if I put a package of Eggos (without the box) on top of a plastic bag of raw meat, will the bacteria go through? Im sorry if this sounds extreme, I just have a fear of vomiting so and I always try to avoid food poisoning at all costs. Thanks!

I’m weird about raw meat, even when it’s sealed in its package. When I go to the grocery store, I ALWAYS keep the raw meat at the top of the cart, separate from everything else at the bottom of the cart. And I have them bag the meat last and separate from anything else. When i store meat in my fridge or freezer, I keep it sealed in a separate meat drawer. There have actually been times where I’ll go to the store and buy meat, and when I get home and take it out of its grocery bag, the inside of the bag will be wet and sticky. As if the raw juices were like leaking out somehow. Honestly, the meat department at stores package and handle a lot of meat, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the outside of the packages are contaminated, I always handle the meat last and grab it with my hand in the plastic bag you put it in, then I turn the bag inside out over the package. So my hands never directly touch it just in case. Call me OCD, but I’d rather be safe.

I wouldnt do that. Id put the meat in additional layer of grocery bags or set eggos in tubberware. But thats me.

Are you planning to eat the egos without heating them? 
The bacteria likely won’t go through the bag and if you wipe the outside/rinse with hot water it will be okay. 
The heat of cooking 160 degrees Fahrenheit + kills the bacterias that cause food poisoning.
