In laws wanting to hold my baby during covid 19? Advice!!

Sandy

So me and my husband invited his parents to come over and visit our baby outdoors with the exception of wearing masks at all times. They asked us if they can carry her we answered no. Their response was “we showered, why did we come then?”. As the daughter in law, I kept quiet and all I said was forward your questions to the father. We are taking precautions. Long story short, they seemed upset the whole time. How else can we tell them? so they can understand? Oh and another thing they kept comparing their other son who also has a 4 month old and is always out visiting family. Every parenting decisions are different. Personally, I wouldn’t risk my baby’s life for someone that just wants to carry her no matter who it is. Inputs mommas? What advice do you give? Any articles that talk about this? On another note in laws are always a pain in the butt!
