This are amazing. They’re super comfy, they aren’t huge, but the important part is the smooth applicator. Some brands have those awful ones with the hard edges and they scratch and they’re not fun at all but these? They’re amazing. I get a variety pack with light and regular. I also use panty liners on my first day and for about two days after I stop noticing lots of blood on my tampons. There’s still some leakage sometimes, but not enough to warrant a full pad or tampon. 
Always make sure you remove them every 4-6 hours. TSS isn’t super common but it’s potentially fatal, and bacterial infections caused by having stagnant blood stuck inside of you for too long are much more common although no where near as deadly. Be safe, try shit out, get small boxes until you find a brand and style that you like.
