Labor? nervous!

Question

Anyone else nervous about going into labor? Imthink about what could go wrong, if somthing bad would happen to my baby or me, all that stuff:/i have only  4 months to go, time is going by fast!   i hate thinking about it but it is my first baby, and i just hope everything goes okay.

Im nervous... But only about the pain... Not about anything going wrong. Cant wait for it to be over

To be honest the contractions were not as bad as I thought they would be. They were painful, but they only last a minute more or less. They felt like back pains and stomach cramps combined for me. However mine started at every other minute lasting a minute! I was still able to shower and do my hair and makeup while contracting. I got to the hospital at a three and got the epidural soon after. It was awesome and I felt nothing. The worst part is the pressure you feel when you get to an eight or so and during pushing. The epidural doesn't numb the pressure. It was SO uncomfortable. And no, you don't feel yourself tear. I got a second degree tear and didn't know it. There isn't much you can do to prepare. I didn't work out or do kegals. You will feel like you've run a marathon when it's over but you'll be so happy it's over that you will just want to see your baby! Don't worry. I'm two months postpartum and I can look back now and see it wasn't so bad.

This is my first, and I'm not worried about the pain at all! It's temporary and there's a light at the end of the tunnel, so the speak. Your pain will be increased if you're tense and afraid. I'm going to read Hypnobirthing to help keep myself centered and calm through the contractions...hope it works! :)

I was nervous with my first as well what I will say is don't expect the worse but don't think your labor plans can't change for you as well. I thought I was going to have a vaginal with my daughter and I didn't I had to end up having a c section. I did cry I want lie but when I saw her face a year ago I was to happy to care about pain after. You will do great

This is my first pregnancy and I too only have about four months left! Due February 25. I'm nervous about the pain and how long it could last. I'm afraid the pain is going to be unbearable, but I don't want an epidural. Hopefully I can manage without one because the thought of someone sticking something in my back freaks me out! I also hope everything goes smoothly and I don't need a c-section. Nervous about that too.
