Does brand really matter?

Question

Hey! I've been considering switching to the cup for a while since I'm shit at remembering to change anything more often than 12 hrs anyways, but there are just so many options. And with the cost I can't really justify trying a few out. 
Is there really that much difference in brands?
I'm looking at 
MeLuna (recommended for beginners?) 
Lily (angled) 
Flex (pull tab breaks the seal too)
Nixit (I just kinda like the disc idea better but have no experiential reason to back that up)
Thoughts? Any good contenders I'm missing? Or is it a super varying personal preference thing and I have to bite the bullet and actually try a few?

I really like the athena cup, they come in cute colors and the bags are also cute but the main thing is the tip is the right length that makes it easy to pull out. I had a lily cup and it just felt so much shorter but I still use the compact which is really cool.

Zuviacup is the one im trying I ordered them off amazon it comes with 2 small and 2 large for only $10. Personally I don't think the brand matters as long as its very flexible which is easier for both insertion and removal. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on one for sure because you don't know if you'll like it and if you don't and you spend a lot of money on one then that's just money down the drain its up to you though.

I use the OrganiCup! I really like it just because it is clear and has no dye in it and is more eco friendly. But I’ve only used that brand in particular so I’m not sure how it compares to others.

Every body is different. Try them out and see how you like them. I’ll be trying Nixit during my next cycle but I was advised to try disposables first just because Nixit is significantly more expensive than cups. But to answer your question, brand is important because the shape and length of cup works different for some people depending on the height of your cervix and how sensitive or firm you may need it to be. It’s just a trial and error process but I’m sure you’ll find one that’s perfect for you!

I use a MeLuna original with the ball stem. It’s the first cup I’d tried, and I’ve used it ever since (going on four years now). Maybe I just got lucky, but I will say that MeLuna is a great brand!

I use one that’s very similar to diva cup that’s a different brand and it works just fine! 
I think as long as you read reviews and pick the one that’s most appealing to you that it would be fine :)

MeLuna is a good price but I didn’t like the smell, It’s not made of medical grade silicone like most others and it attracts a smell after a few cycles that sort of creeps up on you. I love my Lunette cup but I have to say, brand is not the thing you need to consider it’s mainly about your body and cervix shape/position that you need to look into before buying a cup. There are some really good comparison charts online for most brands which are worth looking at if you are comparing cups.

I've tried many different brands recommended by others but the Diva Cup has always been the most comfortable for me. Every cup and brand is different just like every woman's anatomy is different. You may find yourself trying a few different ones before you find the one that fits right. The YouTube channel 'Put A Cup In It' talks all about different cups and is worth checking out.
