My closest friends are old enough to be my parents. I don’t know why, like that’s just happened over time.

I had one of my friends call me and then laugh at herself because she was calling to talk about her kid that actually rode the same bus as me at one point.

I mean heck. I don’t have kids yet but I won’t tell your son you ranted to me lol I don’t mind. My other friend calls me to rant about her kids too.

But I’m wondering if anyone else is the same way and has friends that could be their parents. I do have friends my age but I have more friends that are 20+ years older. I think I like people older than me because they’re just more dependable and seem more grounded. Idk that’s just a guess. Younger people can be dependable and grounded too of course.

My mom thinks this is weird lmfao. When I talk about my friends she never pictures someone her age. She blames it on the fact that from birth to kindergarten I was just with adults. I never went to daycare or anything. She says she should have socialized me with more children lol
