When would you test?

If you’re planning to test in the morning, but you wake up at 3am and you HAVE to pee, do you take a test at 3? Or do you pee and then take a test when you wake up for the day?

I wouldn't take it at 3 am. I don't want to sit around and wait for something and turn the lights on. Then if it's negative to try to go back to sleep would be stressful.

Depends, how long had it been since you last peed before 3am and what time do you usual get up for the day? 
If you last go pee about 10pm then wake up at 3 take it then. 
Whichever option has 4 or more hours between holding is best to do

I'd just have a drink while your up and test when you wake up for the day
