Induction finally set

S

After complications again within the last few days of occasions of not being able to detect breathing movements, failing an hour and a half long biophysical profile. Being sent to have a nonstress test. That looking a little better. Induction was supposed to have been 2 weeks ago but due to the stay at home orders and riots and protesting and businesses closing super early it had been impossible to get a date scheduled to have the scans done to look for the last determining factors of a safe time for the induction medically speaking. They informed me yesterday morning induction will now be at 6 am Sunday (tomorrow morning). I have to stop medicines they have me on tonight. Everything has to be started again I believe they said within 6 hours of starting labor process so it will move quickly. Lots of complications and concerns to face this far in so no idea what to expect.

Still unprepared, nothing for baby, I am not packed for the hospital as I really have nothing to pack along those lines other than a change of clothes for me and stuff to take a shower. So I guess I don’t really need a hospital bag. I’m nervous having to deliver at a different hospital than the one that has all info on file and is familiar with the medical conditions I’ve faced and treated the embolism I encountered. Not sure what is ahead.

I’m supposed to call at 5am to be sure there is still room to bring me in. Family is still unaware of pregnancy much less induction being in less than 24 hours.
